Applications are now available for the 2024 Dodge County High School Homecoming Parade.
The parade will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, October 18, and will follow the parade’s regular route through Eastman.
This year’s Homecoming theme is “Once Upon a Homecoming,” and participants are encouraged to decorate their trailers and floats with all things fairy tales.
“The Homecoming Committee was thrilled with the participation of many civic organizations, schools, businesses, and local honorees in last year’s parade, and we hope to have an even better turnout this year,” said Amy Mullis, parade director.
Principal Marcie Jones added, “What really makes the Homecoming parade special is the participation of the community - whether it’s being in the parade or simply lining up along the parade route to show support for our school.”
Clubs, churches, civic organizations, sports teams, and any other groups interested in participating in this year’s parade can pick up an application from the DCHS front office or download it from the school’s Web site at dhs.dodge.k12.ga.us
For more information, please contact Amy Mullis via email at amullis@dodge.k12.ga.us or by phone at 478-374-7711. Deadline for entry will be Friday, October 11, so participants are encouraged to register as soon as possible.
