Harassment/Discrimination Notification

It is the policy of the Dodge County School District that there will be no discrimination or harassment on the basis of sex, race, age, creed, color, or handicap in the education program, activities, or employment practices in this school system. Any student or employee who believes he or she has been subject to harassment or discrimination by other students or employees of the school district based upon his or her race, color, religion, national origin, age, disability, or sex should promptly report the same to the principal of this school or the appropriate coordinator, who will implement the board’s discriminatory complaints or harassment procedures. Students and employees shall not be subjected to retaliation for reporting such harassment or discrimination.

The Superintendent or designee has been appointed as the school system Title IX/Section 504 Coordinator. The Title IX/Section 504 Coordinator shall be responsible for supervising the Dodge County Board of Education’s efforts to comply with all aspects of the legislation regarding discrimination including Title IX of Educational Amendments Act of 1972 and section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, for investigating both employee and student complaints, and for establishing and monitoring grievance procedures that provide for prompt and equitable resolution of such complaints.
